A Message from the Chair:

Region 6 is your gateway to a vibrant network of right-of-way professionals, events, and opportunities across the Southeast.

IRWA Region 6 is comprised of seven chapters across seven states including Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee.

From Florida’s sugar-white beaches to the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse in the famous Outer Banks of North Carolina, Region 6 offers some of the most diverse tourist attractions in the USA, including Disney World, the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, the Georgia Aquarium, the Florida Aquarium, the lovely charms of historic Savannah and Charleston, and the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. The region offers a unique blend of culture, cuisine, and community.

Be it High Country or Low Country, our region is famous for its southern hospitality and memorable culinary experiences. Although the tempo in some areas of our region tend to be laid back for some, we take four things seriously: Family, food, music, sports, and professionalism.

As of 2026, our region is headquarters to several Fortune 500 companies including Publix Super Markets (retail), Innowise (software development), Home Depot (retail), Georgia-Pacific (forest products), Bank of America (financials), Duke Energy (utilities), FEDEX (logistics), Tennessee Eastman (chemicals), Alabama Power (utilities), just to name a few.
